needful-apps endeavours to make this service accessible. This statement applies to the web
interface of Greedy Snacks at this address.

Compliance status

The target, and what has been implemented, is level AA of WCAG 2.2 (corresponding to
EN 301 549 and the requirements of the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG – the German
Accessibility Strengthening Act). According to our own assessment, the service is largely
compliant with these requirements; individual points are listed below.

What has been implemented includes:

• Full keyboard operation, visible focus indicator, skip link to the content
• The interface works without JavaScript; htmx only improves individual areas
• Meaningful page titles, heading structure, labels on all form fields,
  table headers with an association (scope)
• Language marking per page, switching between German, English and French
• Light and dark mode according to the system setting, contrast of at least 4.5:1 for text
• Controls of at least 24 × 24 pixels (WCAG 2.2, 2.5.8), no time limits,
  no moving images, no automatically starting content
• Text remains usable at 200% zoom and at a window width of 320 pixels

Content that is not fully accessible

• Source code display and diffs: the colours of the syntax highlighting come from a
  standard palette; individual tokens do not reliably reach a contrast value of 4.5:1.
  Additions and deletions are additionally distinguished by the characters "+"
  and "−", not by colour alone.
• Content from repositories (README files, release notes, uploaded files) comes from
  users. Whether, for example, alternative texts for images are set there is beyond our
  control (§ 3(3) BFSGV – German Accessibility Strengthening Act Ordinance, third-party
  content not required to be adapted).
• The diff of long files is collapsed and has to be actively opened in order to be read.
